A bitcoin website doesn't have clear TOS, can I still be prosecuted?
So there is this website, on which the TOS states that they would like me not to automate their service, and doing so will result in a ban and the balance of my account will be forfeited. So my question is, since this is about money, is there any way that I could be prosecuted? And would making money this way be considered illegal? Since the website doesn't say that they will prosecute or anything like that. EDIT: I am residing in the UK, and I'm pretty sure the website is hosted in the US, going off by the fact that they use dollars.
I need an alternative Bitcoin website I got a limit on my coinbase of 500$ but I always end up using it when it's available like of 35$ is available I'll use it I won alot in the past few weeks so don't think that I'm spending that much but if somebody knows a website that I can buy Bitcoin from with a bank card easy fast and simple let me know and website is like coinbase that's easy to verify would help with a no limit of buying
Satoshi Nakamoto's Original Bitcoin Website Is Changing Hands
this is a short but interesting story about the original bitcoin website: bitcoin.org According to Cryptoglobe's article, which is also quoting a Github article:
According to a GitHub post Cobra Bitcoin, the pseudonymous co-owner of Bitcoin.org, is going to gradually reduce his involvement with the website and will leave it “in trusted hands.” In the post he noted that h has a few people in mind, but either way asked for individuals or organizations that could be a good fit to maintain the Bitcoin.org platform, which onboards new users who search for “bitcoin” in search engines.
So, why is this important? That is because some things that we thought it were unchangeable, are changing! Why is he living this website and making a step backward? Maybe we will find in the next months. Feel free to add more info or comments to this article. It looked important for me.
